There are pros and cons to selling in the fall season. If you get your house ready to hit the market in early fall you will still find people who are motivated to buy before the holiday season is in full swing. The time change hasn't happened so you can fit in weeknight showings.

Use the "coziness" of fall.
Even though Florida doesn't really have seasons a lot of people are transplants from colder climates and are used to creating a cozy atmosphere inside the home once September hits.
With less vacation travel and kids back in school many people may be spending more time inside the house. Fall decor could really help potential buyers imagine themselves in the home for the coming holidays.
